About Us
Mike and Jackie have been working with willow in their home county of Somerset for many years. Six years ago they started their own business making and selling willow baskets, hurdles and other rustic items to the public.

Great British Baskets is an extension of the Great British Hurdles web site, which has proved to be a great success in the last three years. Mike and Jackie are thrilled that a once dying art is being helped to stay alive via the interest expressed on the internet. Whilst still a small partnership company, the success of Great British Hurdles has allowed Mike to train local craftsmen in the art of willow weaving and traditional willow bed maintenance on the Somerset levels.

Mike and Jackie love the outdoor life, and visit many of the craft fairs around the country, where they demonstrate the skills which they use on a daily basis. They are both passionate about the countryside they live and work in and are active in promoting the use of sustainable and ecologically friendly products and methods of working.
The Great British Basket web site is a natural extension of our mail order service. The internet has proved itself to be invaluable to those who wish to obtain quality crafts which normally they may have to travel many miles to obtain. We believe our service is valuable for those who need secure and easy ordering of products, from a known and reliable company. |

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Shipping costs
Shipping costs to England, Wales and Scotland are automatically worked out according to the size and weight of the items you have placed in your shopping basket. Larger orders will be shipped on a pallet, so the shipping cost will be the same however few or many you order.
Worldwide delivery
If you wish to purchase items and you are outside England and Scotland, please let us know what you require by emailing overseas@greatbritishbaskets.co.uk and we will get back to you with a delivery price.
If you want to pay by sending us a cheque we will wait for your cheque to clear before dispatching your order.

Refunds
If you are not delighted with your purchase you
have the right to cancel within seven days of your purchase, or seven days from the receipt of the goods (whichever is longer). If you cancel your order you will have your payment returned, provided you return your goods (at your own expense) to us at the address shown on the contact us page.
